Over the next two years, MSWG will explore how new laws and policies can better align the legal system with the natural system to foster greater environmental performance through innovation and stewardship. Themes document here.

Winter 2008 MSWG meeting

To meet MSWG's need to hold quality meetings that produce transparent results, the meeting in New Orleans on re-invention of NEPA that was to be held Feb. 11 & 12 has been postponed. This is due to travel budget issues that made some key participants unable to attend, and to the need to further develop the sensitive and complex issue of NEPA and its use. MSWG is seeking partners to help us develop this issue.

Spring 2007 MSWG meeting, Glen Ellen, California

A working session on ecological sustainability and the Path to Washington was held at the Benziger Family Winery, Glen Ellen, CA, April 24-25, 2007. This meeting was to form the basis for future MSWG programs and projects for the Path to Washington. Full report here. Executive Summary here.
